Mr. Li Sze Lim started his real estate business in 1993 and jointly founded Tianli Properties, the predecessor of R&F Properties, with Mr. Zhang Li in August 1994. In October 2001, Mr. Li was elected as the Chairman of R&F Properties and the company was listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on July 14, 2005. R&F Properties became the first mainland real estate enterprise to be included in the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index in May 2006 joining the rank of substantial listed companies. Mr. Li has extensive experience in the real estate development and related businesses. He oversees R&F Properties’ operations, business development, administration and strategic planning. Together with Mr. Zhang, he made the strategic decision to expand the company’s operation from its home base in Guangzhou to more than ten cities and regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hainan, Xi’an, Jiangsu, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Huizhou and Foshan establishing a strategic presence nationwide. Since its establishment, R&F Properties has developed over 70 property projects in China’s southern, northern, eastern and western regions. Currently, R&F Properties owns a land bank of over 26 million square meters of GFA sufficient for developments in the next three to five years.

R&F Properties’ track record over the years attested to Mr. Li’s thorough grasp of the market dynamics and his visionary insight on market trends. For example in the Guangzhou market, R&F Properties went into the development of Pearl River New Town back in 2004 when the area was not favoured by most developers. Later when the development potential of this new CBD of Guangzhou is commonly recognised, R&F Properties has already firmly established itself as the leading developer in the area holding 16 plots of land which have either been or will be developed into Grade-A office complexes, service apartments for sale or high quality investment properties such as the group headquarters, The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou and Grand Hyatt, Guangzhou.

Mr. Li is also a philanthropist strongly committed to community service having generously contributed to education, public health, law enforcement, elderly care, poverty reduction, improvement of transportation and international cultural exchanges. R&F Properties has donated in excess of RMB100 million and Mr. Li was twice granted the China Charity Award by the Ministry of Civil Affairs on November 2005 and December 2008 respectively.

Mr. Li is now taking R&F Properties to a higher plateau at par with renowned international enterprises. Mr. Li is compassionate and genuinely cares about the society and he is dedicated to make R&F Properties a respectable property company in China.
