熊晓鸽，美国国际数据集团（IDG）全球常务副总裁兼亚洲区总裁，IDG创业投资基金创始合伙人及IDG中国媒体基金创始合伙人。
1993年，熊晓鸽协助IDG董事长麦戈文在中国创立了第一支进入中国的美国风险投资基金，目前在中国管理着25亿美元的创投资金。
1996年，熊晓鸽毕业于哈佛大学商学院高级管理班，1987年获波士顿大学新闻传播学硕士学位，后入弗莱彻法律与外交学院攻读亚洲经济与国际商务研究生课程，1986年毕业于中国社会科学院研究生院新闻系，1981年毕业于湖南大学外文系。
熊晓鸽自2005年起任波士顿大学董事。
Hugo Shong is the Executive Vice President of International Data Group (IDG), President of IDG Asia/China, Founding General Partner of IDG Technology Venture Investment (IDGVC) and Founding General Partner of IDG China Media Fund.
In 1993, Mr. Shong helped IDG set up the first technology venture fund in China, which now has $2.5 billion under management.
Mr. Shong completed the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in the fall of 1996. He was a Research Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy 1987-88 and earned a Master of Science from Boston University’s College of Communication in 1987. He graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1986 with a Journalism degree and he completed his undergraduate work at Hunan University in 1981.
He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Boston University since 2005.
